Our EXECUTIVE SALES MANAGER , EILEEN MEYER, was recently installed as PRESIDENT of the MANHATTAN ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. In addition to her extraordinary service to our many clients, EILEEN served on the MAR Forms Committee this year to improve our Manhattan real estate contracts. She also serves on so many community boards that she hardly ever sits still! Be sure to read her extensive list of accomplishments!

Our EXECUTIVE LISTING MANAGER, MARTHA PAYNE, in addition to her extraordinary accomplishments in handling the LISTINGS for our TEAM, serves on the BOARD OF DIRECTORS for the KANSAS ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. Both MARTHA and EILEEN will represent the MANHATTAN ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS in voting at the STATE LEVEL, a responsibility that JERRY and I both enjoyed when we each served as PRESIDENT of the MANHTTAN ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. MARTHA also is busy keeping up with her talented High School daughter, so be sure to read more about MARTHA PAYNE--our “PURPLE-BLOODED, SPORTS-LOVIN’, LOVES THOSE STATS LADY!”

In addition to their extensive professional accomplishments, both GREG SHOSA, our EXECUTIVE BUYER AGENT, and MARY SCHARFE, our EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, are new parents this year ! Mary’s WILLIAM was born January 30, 2009, and Greg’s JACK was born August 6, 2009. Such fun!!!! Both GREG and MARY do an outstanding job in helping our clients—AND helping me keep up and ahead with all our professional responsibilities. GREG completed his GRI in record time, which made us all proud, and he is now working on his CRS. Be sure to read their excellent BIOS.

JON NETSON joined our TEAM in February and serves as our BUSINESS RELATIONS MANAGER. JON came to us from Kansas Farm Bureau, where he had served as Chief of the FB IT Transition Team. A life-long resident of Manhattan, JON’S real estate license may be new, but he has TONS of contacts. On his way to making a name for himself in the real estate world, he is a great asset to our firm!

LES WALLACE continues as our MANAGING BROKER at a bit more relaxed pace now, though his oversight as our INTERNAL AUDITOR and TECHNICAL CRISIS-MANAGER is helpful beyond words! Les is about to celebrate his 13th year with our company. His experience as an Army First SGT has been extremely beneficial to me and our firm. “DUTY FIRST”! Thanks, Les! You are appreciated!

JERRY WEIS continues to amaze us with his patience, perseverance, and skill in helping clients through the most difficult circumstances. I think he developed these talents in being my partner in life and marriage for these many years! His sense of humor continues to bless our firm with joy & grace in a most stressful business. His humility endears him to all our staff and clients, and his ability to facilitate all of us to be our best is a great strength. His knowledge of real estate in Manhattan dates back to the late 60’s when I bought him a surprise rental property for FATHER’S DAY---True Story! In return, he bought me a “new” VERY OLD house for Christmas—a 5-year-renovation project! Fun, fun!
