<p>Realty Executives Weis Real Estate celebrated their 20<sup>th</sup> anniversary by hosting four open houses where the names of 26 registrants were drawn to win prizes from local businesses totaling more than $2,500, including an iPad2, a one-year homebuyer’s warranty, and a $1,000 listing commission credit.  Established February 1, 1992, by Broker-Owner Linda B. Weis, the company opened in an office at 1006 Poyntz Avenue.  They soon outgrew that location, moving in May of 1992 to an office located at Juliette and Humboldt in what is now Intrust Bank.  In 2000, they moved to their present location at Professional Place, 2316 Anderson Avenue.</p>
<p>Assisted by her daughter Stephanie Weis (now Grynkiewicz), Linda closed 80 transactions in 1992.  In 2007 she and her team placed #1 in the Realty Executives Mid-America Region and #23 of more than 10,000 Realty Executives International.  She and her team currently hold fourth place in the region and #31 with Realty Executives International, with headquarters based in Phoenix.  Steve and Nancy Summers of Leawood,  master franchisors of Realty Executives KS-MO-CO-NE from whom Weis purchased her five-county franchise in 1992, were in attendance at the 20<sup>th</sup> anniversary event and hosted the 9-member Weis team at a private luncheon at the Holiday Inn at the Campus.</p>
<p>Local business leaders who were in attendance to assist with the drawings were Charlson &amp; Wilson Escrow Attorney Todd Sheppard, Chamber President Lyle Butler,  City Commissioner Rich Jankovich,  Kansas State Bank president Mike Daniels, Manhattan Association of Realtors President Byron Lewis and Executive Director Angie Danner.</p>
<p>Realty Executives Weis Real Estate handles residential, commercial, land, and farm properties.  Broker Linda Weis employs Jeffrey Black as commercial real estate specialist, and military referrals are handled by recently-retired military officers Leslie Alford (LTC ) and Jim Hood (CW5).  Barbara Huston is an experienced successful Realtor who worked for Steve Summers in his Independence, MO. Realty Executives office early in her career.  Martha Payne acts as Weis’ listing manager, having a tenure of 11 years.  Managing Broker and internal auditor Les Wallace has been with Weis for 15 years.  Co-owner Realtor Dr. Jerry S. Weis has been licensed and full time with the company since 1999.  Laurie Mathews serves as office manager and executive assistant to the broker.</p>
<p>The company has a 24/7 toll free number at 1-800-593-3250.  Office hours are 8:30-5:30 and other by appointment.  Weis has served as Board Chairman of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of Advantage Manhattan I, II, and III.</p>
