Born in Winfield, Kansas, Les lived in Southern California until 1962, when he moved to Utah and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1964. He was a member of the Utah National Guard from 1963 to 1966. From 1964 to 1966 he manufactured horse trailers in American Fork, Utah and was promoted to shop foreman at the age of 20.
Les entered the United States Army Active Service in August of 1966. During his 27 military year career he served both domestically and internationally, in times of peace and war at Fort Lewis, Washington; Vietnam; Fort McArthur, California; Germany; White Sands, New Mexico; South Korea; Fort McClellan, Alabama; Fort Riley, Kansas; Saudi Arabia and Kuwait (Desert Storm).
He received a Certificate from The Phoenix Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona in 1981 as an Electronic Technician.
Les retired from the military in 1992, and obtained his REALTOR® License that same year. Les began his Real Estate career at Regency Realty from 1992 to 1995 and Anderson Real Estate until 1997. In 1997, Les made the move to Realty Executives Weis Real Estate and has been with us ever since. As our Managing Broker he makes sure all the “i’s” are dotted and the “t’s” crossed in the escrow process when you are selling or purchasing your home. Because we are State-Regulated, this is an extremely important aspect of the sales process. Les Wallace is the person responsible for recording and managing all company escrow records. Les’ work was recently recognized during a spontaneous audit by the Kansas Real Estate Commission as being “the best files and system she has ever audited; a model for a real estate brokerage company”.
